Of course Westland Independent Laboratories (WIL) can perform routine analyses, such as determining protein (Dumas), fat (RoseGottlieb), moisture and ashes contents, purity, insolubility and acidity. Moreover, WIL carries out specific instrumental analyses. These can e.g. be focused on powdered whey substances (reversed phase), fatty acid composition (gas chromatography), lactose (HPLC) and radioactivity.
Finally, the laboratory also analyses for food safety by means of a wide range of bacteriological parameters.
These involve, amongst others, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, yeasts and moulds, antibiotics and coli bacteria.
